The Dufur School District was awarded a Career Technical Education Revitalization Grant today for $ 125,000 dollars. The proceeds will be used to further develop the Ranger Tech Program. Thanks to all that worked on the grant application! GO RANGERS!!

Dufur School wants to remind parents and students about the amazing virtual career fair that 4-H Extension is hosting on Thursday, February 10th from 4-5:30 p.m. The hosts are looking forward to meeting everyone and giving your child/children the opportunity to explore new or different careers. We hope they continue to be inspired to learn more about the diverse careers, jobs and internships opportunities available in Oregon. High School Basketball Updates for this weekend Today 2/4 vs SWC, 4:00 pm: 1/2 jv girls, 5:00 pm 1/2 jv boys. Varsity teams play as scheduled at 6 and 7:30 pm. Tomorrow 2/5 at Lyle, No girls games, varsity boys play at 3:30 pm, bus will depart at 1:30 pm.

Dufur School is disposing of a surplus School Bus. The bus is a 1999 Blue Bird with approximately 260,000 miles. Sale will be conducted via sealed bid. PSA fromThe Mid Columbia Umpires Association: (MCUA) is continuing to look for new or experienced umpires for the upcoming 2022 high school baseball and softball season. The MCUA will be holding its first meeting of the season this coming Wednesday February 2nd. The meeting will be at 6:00 pm at the Bargeway Pub on the catering side of the restaurant. This is a new rules meeting as well as an informational meeting for prospective umpires. Any and all questions will be answered. The region's high school softball and baseball teams need umpires. So join and be part of something important for high school athletics. Women are highly encouraged to join. The season starts March 14th. Training is provided for new members.
