Ranger Athlete Parents: It isn't too early to get your child's sports physical for fall sports. Remember football players need a current physical each year. Volleyball players need a physical every other year. The OCH Mobile Medical Unit will be on campus twice this month: May 3rd and May 17th, from 10 am to 4 pm. To make an appointment for a sports physical, or for any other reason, go to https://www.onecommunityhealth.org/news/school-based-health-services
In celebration of National Leadership Week last week, DHS's National Honor Society put on a leadership scavenger hunt. One of the tasks was to take a selfie with students from other grades. Our younger kids enjoyed interacting in a positive way with our high school students, and our high school students loved getting to know some of our younger kids. One submission was drawn for a cash prize, and senior Emma Coleman was the winner!

Dufur students have been learning about different careers and having great opportunities for community members to share! Today members of the Dufur Volunteer Fire & Ambulance visited. Students were able to learn about the responsibilities of EMS workers, see the inside of an ambulance and the equipment they use, and ask lots of questions.
