Congratulations to Ann Ferguson on her retirement this Thursday. Dufur School District appreciates your dedication to keeping our school clean and safe, Ann!

We are so grateful to our wonderful community for donating supplies for the elementary STEAM makerspace. Thanks to your generosity, our list is complete, and we’re excited to begin our projects!
🏐💙 Last Thursday's Rangers volleyball game was about so much more than the score! 💙🏐
During September's Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, our Dufur community came together to support both our incredible team AND each other's mental health. Before the game, we took time to remind everyone that just like our Rangers on the court - we're stronger when we support one another.
In our tight-knit Dufur community, every person matters. Whether you're having your best day or your toughest, you belong here and your life has value. 💛
Our volleyball team shows us what real teamwork looks like - they communicate, lift each other up, and never give up on one another. That's the same energy we need when it comes to mental health in our community.
Remember Rangers:
✨ You are not alone
✨ It's okay to ask for help
✨ Check in on your friends and teammates
✨ 988 is always available 24/7
Thank you to everyone who helped make Thursday night special - from our amazing players to the fans who filled the gym with love and support. THIS is what Dufur strong looks like! 🧡💙

This afternoon, Dufur School got to celebrate with Mrs. Anderson as she was named the Columbia Gorge Regional Teacher of the Year! Today is National IT Professionals Day. We would like to recognize C.S. Little for the hard work that he does to keep our digital systems and networks running smoothly!

Dear Community Members,
In October, our Elementary STEAM classroom will be exploring My Mouth is a Volcano by Julia Cook with fun experiments. Items needed for this experiment are listed in the link below.
We’ll also be starting to build a Makerspace for our students! To help us get set up, we’re collecting supplies (see attached link). Many items can be found at home, while others are available at local craft stores. Any donations you’re able to share will make a big difference.
Thank you so much for supporting our students and helping us bring these projects to life! Please contact Mrs. Fain at sarah.fain@dufur.k12.or.us with any questions.
