I am excited to be on the ground floor of the Ranger Tech Program teaching Health Sciences! I spent much of my high school and college years exploring different options in healthcare, knowing that was the career field I wanted to land in but not having a clue what direction I wanted to go. I eventually honed in and and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and a Master's Degree in Athletic Training. I found what I thought was my dream job right out of college as a first responder and athletic trainer for the US Army at Fort Benning, GA. After a couple years there, I made my way to the PNW and have spent the past seven years serving the Dufur School as their athletic trainer. I live right here in Dufur with my husband, Kevin, and two children, Wyatt and Piper. We love all things outdoors and the Columbia Gorge could not be a better location for living our best lives. I look forward to introducing students to the health sciences and preparing them for careers in healthcare through hands on learning!
