I was born in The Dalles, Oregon and raised by parents who co-owned and operated an electrical business together for 30 years. I grew up in the trades, often working by my Father’s side in his woodshop while assisting him on his latest project. My husband, and I, have co-owned and operated a plumbing business in Dufur since 2005. I bring firsthand experience in entrepreneurism and business ownership to the Construction CTE program, along with a deep understanding of the trades, and a vast social network of skilled trades professionals willing to work with students. I look forward to sharing my passion of business, and my love of the trades with all. - Leona Egeland
