Dufur High School is pleased to offer our students a pathway into Early Childhood Education.  Our Early Childhood Education (ECE) program offers a variety of classes that pertain to the broad spectrum of ECE.  Lindsey Black is our instructor who teaches three different courses in this program. Lindsey graduated from Oregon State University with degrees in Human Development and Family Sciences, Public Health, and Education, and has a passion for learning and teaching about how our brains and bodies work. We are currently planning  a future partnership with Central Oregon Community College to offer college credits. This program consists of ECE 1: Child Development, ECE 2: Intro to Early Childhood Education, and ECE 3: Creating Adventures in Movement, Music, and Arts.
