Gorge STEM Related Summer Camp Programs
Spring harvest was a success. Bunches of radishes and carrots were eaten, onions and peas need more time. Corn, pumpkin and sunflower seeds are in the ground and looking forward to the heat of summer.
Overflow parking will be available on the east side of Dufur Elementary School for Graduation tomorrow evening. To access this area drive up Mill Street on to the school property. There will be a person on site to direct parking beginning at 6:00 pm.
Entry from this area will be through the cafeteria, which is handicapped accessible.

Just a reminder that we will be holding our Spring Concert tomorrow, Thursday May 30th, at 6:00p.m. in the lower gym. All grade levels are performing. We hope to see you there.
Excavation is well under way on our construction project, and things are really looking different already!
Mrs. Miller's fourth grade class has spent weeks learning about the Oregon Trail, building their own wagons, and creating provisions to put inside them. Today they simulated traveling down the Oregon Trail with the goal of reaching Oregon. Obstacles along the way stopped the journey for many--including the deaths of their "people". Dressing like pioneers added to the fun!

The pine trees at the former front entry way to the school have been removed and are available for residents to take. The trees are cut in to 8 foot lengths. If you are interested in acquiring wood, please contact Kevin Farrell at the school.
Join us this Friday for the Junior Class Carnival! From 5-7 pm in the lower gym there will be games, treats, face painting and the ever popular Fish Pong!
