The four-day research team is asking for more parent feedback around a four-day instruction week. This survey is shorter than the previous survey, and the team would greatly appreciate parent feedback. Dufur School wants to assure all parents and community members that no decision around a four-day week has been made for Dufur School; only research is being done at this time.

The Mid Columbia Umpires Association (MCUA) is preparing for the upcoming 2022 spring baseball and softball season. Not only does the MCUA need umpires for baseball and softball, it is really the high school teams that need you. Plain and simple, without umpire’s games do not get played. Could you use some extra income? Do you like to be part of something special and make a difference? Because if so, we could use the help.
Join a group of dedicated individuals and provide a viable service. Plus you get the best seat in the house. The season is starting March 14th. Meetings will be starting in mid February. So again the association needs your help. Be part of something special and very vital for the ability of high school softball and baseball to happen.

Eighth grade art students put their talents to work decorating the doors of the mid-level teachers. Their themes were: Boat in the Snow, Naughty & Nice, Santa in the Fire, and Santa Down the Chimney.
The Ranger Tech CTE program was a hit yet again this Wednesday; students were engaged in construction, welding, and health sciences classes all afternoon. Pictured is Madi Malcolm practicing ankle wrapping technique in health sciences.
If you are planning to attend tonight's Winter Concert, please consider bringing a canned food or winter clothing item to put under the tree in the main entrance. These items will be donated locally to those in need. Season's Greetings!

Congratulations to Dufur School's Career Technical Education Coordinator Leona Egeland who just received a
$ 2500.00 grant from the Roundhouse Foundation to support the Dufur School CTE Construction program. Great Job!
The Missoula Children's Theatre returns to Dufur School March 14-19 and will be performing "Alice in Wonderland". This opportunity is made possible by the "Garner Endowment for the Arts" and is available to Kindergarten through Twelfth grade students. Performances will be on Friday March 18, and Saturday March 19
Tomorrow, December 8th, will be an early release for Dufur students at 1:00 p.m.
The student council is doing a winter clothing drive for community members in need. If you would like to donate new gloves, hats, coats, and scarves, please place them on or near the tree in the front entry of Dufur School through December 15th. All items will be donated locally.
The after school program will run on regular hours on Monday, 12/6 and Tuesday, 12/7. It will run from 1:00-3:00 p.m. (no activity bus available) on Wednesday, 12/8. The program will not run on Thursday, 12/9 due to the Winter Music Program.
Due to continued short staffing, the after school program will be closed again today, 12/2.
Mrs. Olson visited the 3rd Grade again for another fun project! We made floral arrangements to give as a gift to family members or others whom we're thankful for. Mrs. Olson provided most of the supplies and Safeway was kind enough to donate flowers for the whole class too. Everyone had a great time and was excited to show their gratitude to others!
Jordan was a huge help today, getting community service by helping wash busses.
