Good morning Dufur families! Today is the end of our 1st Semester for 6th-12th grades and the 2nd quarter for elementary students. Tomorrow, January 27th, is a staff in-service to prepare grades, so there is no school for students. Have a great weekend.

DHS's National Honor Society is honoring the Dufur School District school board this month with a bulletin board to recognize their service to our district. School board members are the unsung heroes in communities throughout the country. They establish the vision and goals for the public schools in their district, and represent the community's values, views, and desires. Thank you Janna Hage, Stan Ashbrook, Robert Wallace, Cynthia Kortge, and Anne Kelly!

Check out the latest 5th grade art project, “A Splash of Color”. A big THANK YOU to Terry Cobb and the Ranger Pride Education Foundation for fulfilling our class wish list thus making this art project possible!

Back for the first time since 2019, get ready for the Dufur's Got Talent Student Talent Show! Start thinking of your act, and be on the lookout for signup information coming soon!

This week in PE is all about Scooter Fun! The kids love playing Battleship as a team as they try to throw their cannonballs to knock over the other team's cones. We also are playing Hungry Hungry Hippos collecting balls and scooping them into their pens.
