The Dufur School District is seeking input from its students, staff, parents, and community members as part of the search for a new Superintendent. This survey aims to gather insights into the desired qualities and qualifications of the new Superintendent and identify strengths and areas for growth within the district. The feedback collected will assist the search and planning consultant in creating a candidate profile and search materials.
Please complete each question thoughtfully. You may navigate back to previous pages to review or modify your answers, but once you submit the survey, you will not be able to make changes.
If you hold multiple roles within the district, you may either list all your roles in the "Other (please specify)" comment box and complete the survey once, or take the survey separately for each role.
The school board will review the overall survey results when developing the Superintendent profile.

Dufur School Makeup/Retake picture day is Oct. 24, 2024. If you are having a retake done, please make sure your student brings their original package back to the photographer so that they can see what needs to be corrected and we can retake your student's photo.

It was a beautiful day for the Dufur School Alumni Reunion at the park!
This is a reminder that the Dufur Homecoming parade is tomorrow at 11 a.m. and will follow the traditional parade route. There will be a "people's" choice award for the favorite float. Spectators can vote using the link below, or by scanning this QR code. Voting will end at 4:00 p.m. and the award will be presented at the park at 4:25 p.m.

Attention parents of Kindergarten-5th grade student/athletes:
If you are interested in your son or daughter practicing at Dufur and playing on a Dufur team in the Columbia Gorge Youth Basketball League, please return the sign up form to the Dufur School office by this Friday, October 11th. Extra forms are available in the office.

Members of DHS's National Honor Society have been spending time in the cafeteria with elementary students as lunch buddies. The younger kids have loved spending time with these excellent leaders and role models!

Our Mid Level students grades 6-8th have been researching Oregon’s 9 Federally recognized tribes. As part of this exploration, our 8th graders recently were able to visit the Tamástslikt Cultural Institute, where they learned about the Native American heritage and culture of the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla tribes. To showcase their hard work, some of their research projects are now on display in the front lobby display case.
Mr. Colasuonno, the Dufur School Dean of Students, will be presenting a monthly award for the K-12 Student of the Month. This award symbolizes what it means to be a Ranger: positive, encouraging, striving for excellence, team-oriented and an overall productive member of our student body. Congratulations to the September Student of the Month, Shyanne Loomis!
