Puppies + 1st graders= a whole lot of adorable learning! Mrs. Bales’ 1st graders got to “adopt” a puppy, after completing an adoption application of course. They each named their new pet, and made a special collar and home for it to live in for our last month of school. The kids LOVE to read to them, write stories about them, and “teach” them new concepts. 🐶
