Attention! Beginning on 6/24/20, we will be moving to G-Mail, so you will need to access your e-mail account through the Google G. Suites button at our school website, or simply log in at google. com. Your e-mail address and password will remain the same. In coming e-mail will no longer come to the Outlook account. You can still access your old account at Outlook if you need to view any of those old e-mails. Eventually, they will migrate over. Moving contacts is a snap. I can help you with that.

Here is an update we received from ODE: P-EBT benefits issuance is an ongoing process. and timeframes may vary by student. Families of eligible students that have not received their benefits by August 15, 2020 should reach out to DHS using the contact information listed below. The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) is working closely with school districts and the Department of Human Services (DHS) to ensure that P-EBT benefits are issued to eligible students. The benefits will be issued directly from the Department of Human Services. Benefits issuance questions should be directed to DHS by calling (503) 945-6481 or through email at ebt.schoolmeals@dhsoha.state.or.us ODE Child Nutrition Programs would like to make you aware of the following important resource for accessing additional nutrition in your area now: Needfood.Oregon.gov We would also like to invite you to visit ODE’s website under the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer section for information and resources pertaining to P-EBT.

All School Districts in our state are currently working on educational plans for the fall. The Dufur School Districts intent is to be in school as scheduled in late August. We will be working to develop the required plan for the Oregon Department of Education throughout the summer. The district will be requesting input from the community in the development of the plan. We plan to begin summer conditioning programs for high school student athletes beginning on July 6. All dates / times for conditioning opportunities will be announced on June 29. Go Rangers!

On Saturday, May 30th at 10:00 a.m. Dufur School will celebrate our 2020 graduates with a drive in graduation, followed by a parade through Dufur. Seniors and family will line up at the school in their cars for the ceremony, roses, and class gifts. This unique graduation will include, pre-recorded speeches, slide show, awarding of the Jerri Walker Depriest Scholarships, as well as presentation of the class of 2020. Thanks to Shannon Milburn and Gorge Country Media the ceremony will be broadcast locally over the radio at 98.1 FM. Thanks to Nolan Hare Productions, and Great Skot Productions for providing a live video stream. This link will be on the District website, as well as the District's facebook page for access on Saturday. After seniors receive their diplomas they will then leave the school and follow the parade route. We are asking that the community show support by lining the parade route to cheer them on, make signs, etc. Due to COVID-19 and the limitations we must abide by we cannot let the community join us at the school at this time. Seniors will be able to attend with their family members in 1 vehicle for the ceremony and parade. Banners will be set up around town commemorating each senior. Below their banners we will also set up posters for the community to sign and give well wishes. If you have any further questions please contact Graduation Coordinators: Dufur School or the graduation coordinators.
