Administrative Change at Dufur School
Dear Dufur Families,
As some of you may know, longtime Dufur PE teacher Hollie Darden has been serving as our Dean of Students following the recent principal vacancy. I’m pleased to announce that Mr. Darden has officially transitioned into the Dean of Students position and will continue serving in that role for the foreseeable future.
To fill the resulting PE teaching vacancy, Charles Askins has been hired as a temporary 6–12 PE teacher. We anticipate opening the PE position for permanent placement later this school year.
Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Kurt Evans, Interim Superintendent
