September Attendance

Why is it important to keep our attendance average above 91%?
The Oregon Department of Education sets 90% as the threshold for chronic absenteeism. That means students attending less than 90% of the time are considered chronically absent. We aim to stay above that mark — and here's why attendance matters:

  • Students who attend regularly are more likely to stay on grade level.

  • They build stronger relationships with peers and staff.

  • They stay engaged, motivated, and develop consistent learning habits.

  • Regular attendance supports better academic outcomes and higher graduation rates.

We’re proud to share that every grade level maintained an attendance average above 91% for the month of September!

Way to go, Rangers! Let’s keep up the momentum!
