Honoring Terry Cobb

The Dufur School District is proud to recognize Terry Cobb for her many years of service as both an employee and a dedicated volunteer. Her contributions have left a lasting impact on our school community, and we are grateful for her unwavering commitment.

One of Terry’s most significant contributions has been her instrumental role in developing the Jerri Walker DePriest Memorial Endowment Fund. Established in 1997, the JWD Fund has grown to over two million dollars thanks to the dedication of Terry and others. Since its inception, the fund has awarded nearly $750,000 in scholarships to Dufur graduates, providing life-changing opportunities for students pursuing higher education.

Terry’s involvement in the JWD Fund is more than just financial stewardship—it is a deeply personal commitment. As a close friend of Jerri, Terry made a heartfelt promise to keep Jerri’s memory alive, and she has honored that pledge in remarkable ways. Her efforts have ensured that Jerri’s legacy continues to inspire and support generations of Dufur students.

Beyond her work with the JWD Fund, Terry remains actively engaged in the school community. She serves on the Ranger Pride Education Foundation Board of Directors and continues to be a dedicated presence in the district as a school bus driver.

The Dufur School District extends its deepest gratitude to Terry Cobb for her passion, dedication, and service. Her tireless efforts have created meaningful opportunities for students, and her legacy will continue to benefit the Dufur community for years to come.

Thank you, Terry!
